AIT will develop an autonomous edge-based multi-sensor platform with AI-based detection and tracking for different weather conditions.

  • modular setup / easy deployment
  • multiple optical sensors for different wavelengths (e.g., RGB, LWIR, SWIR) including GNSS receiver (self-location)
  • AI detection & tracking algorithms (persons, vehicles) on edge computing device

Capabilities of Edge-Based Multi-Sensor Platform:

  • live streams from multiple optical sensors for different wavelengths (e.g., RGB, LWIR, SWIR)
  • AI based person & vehicle detection for selected sensor(s)
  • short term tracking in videos
  • geo location, heading and field-of-view of sensor platform
  • estimated geo location of detections (direction)
